four solid fuel booster rockets pumping out 16000 lbs of thrust each before two ram jets took over for the flight. It was awesome thing to see blast off.

What a great day out today, back at the lockgate again,followed by a swift ( until we came across a gaggle of artics! ) run down the A41 to RAF Cosford.

Good to see everyone again, hope all got home safe and sound, a few pics to remind us of the day,until next time

....easy mistake to make, it's actually on display with the spitfire. It is, apparently, the only example left!
