Paging Albie!

Hi Andy

I've sent you a PM. Can you let me have your yay or nay please as I need to get back to Ben on Tuesday.

By the way, it didn't occur to me when I PM'd you but are you in the middle of a rebuild - I remember you were replacing the pistons?

Cheers.

PM sent Vince

Lost mojo since weekender. Meant to rip the engine apart but as soon as limped home bike in the garage not turned a wheel ever since. Really want to get it done but think its beyond me without help. Winter project I now suspect but have all parts and gaskets too.
That's why been off forum as nothing to add to anything.

Yes I do get down. Anxiety still got its grip but i try to beat it.The monster took 3 years and one dodgy ring made her run bad. Ruined my weekender but she got me there and back though. Not felt the love for bikes since. It will be done I promise. I have had up walking my daughter down the aisle and a new grandson but most days been making and upgrading electric guitars. Although I don't play yet I love them so making a replica or two.
Cucciollo still in dining room all there all good.

Hi Albie.
It’s surprising what you can do with an old cigar box and a few bits of wire:

Your not kidding. Electric guitars are dead simple in real terms. I had a cheapy one for about 10 years but have always been fascinated by Matt Bellamy ( Muse ) desire to make his do special things. Knowing that he is basically Manson Guitars main man in wanting this and that , and they walk over hot coals to give him everything he asks. I had a bit of cash in the bank and bought myself a Cort Manson and told them to put all the toys on it and the best pickups from Psychopaf. They made the Red Glitter one for me what should have been 4-5 weeks wait. Somehow I jumped the queue ( they said only Matt does that ) and 4 days later it was done. £570 basic gutar then totalled £2000 inc extras. They liked it so much went on the website most modified Cort.
I then bought a secondhand one for £350 and modified it with same parts as the MB1 which sell for £3500. This one is Matt Black. its dripping in 2mm carbon fibre plate for the XY touch pad frame and through body string plates and rear electric covers too and neck plate. Blacked Gotoh hard tail, locking tuners, jack plate. Tesi Led kill switch and Fernandes Sustainer neck pick up with Manson BareKnuckle P90 bridge pickup.
Im right now building from two pieces of American poplar a hand made copy of the Manson Drone. Its all very rewarding routing , chiselling sanding and doing electronics I find. That's nearly done now and would have cost me £2500 as only 99 made. It will have cost me around £3-350 to build. I have another one planned they don't reproduce but I want to make a replica of the Bomber.
I don't play as yet but these are for my grandkids if they want to play but I do think they are nice oblects to collect and have friends in bands to play if they wish.

Very impressive looking: I don’t play either!

Doesn’t stop me fancying one of these though:

It would have to be all black finish though, including the frets.
