I'd stick to the SF, Char - that's a MAN's bike.

Looks v cool. What do you think of the exhaust, how does it sound? I'm just looking at options to replace the stock cans on mine but don't want to spend £1200 on Termis....

Sorry to butt in.

I like my GPR Powercone. Without the dB killer it's not quiet and I prefer the sound to the Termis I had on my M1100. It only costs £299.

When you say its not quiet without the db killer, how loud is it compared to Termis? And how quiet is it with the db killer in?

Ive not seen that one before, it looks pretty nice

It was over a year between me selling the M1100 to me fitting the GPR Powercone to my evo so I never made a direct comparison. I think the sound of the GPR is deeper and less raspy than Termis. It's probably a similar volume to the unbaffled carbon Termis I had on my M1100.

My friend has a Triumph Rocket III which is derestricted and has straight through pipes. My evo is not as loud on tickover, but give it some throttle on the road and it gives the Triumph a run for its money in the volume stakes.

It's not road legal. It wasn't loud enough for my liking (having had an M1100 with unbaffled Termis) so I took it out and reduced the weight of my bike by a few hundred grams in the process ;-)

Yes I really like the look. I was seriously considering have something similar custom made until I came across the Powercone.

Sounds good, not sure compared to termis but definitely cheaper, Suneyes bike does sound good, just needs a good clean

Thank you mate, it's a renthal, not sure of the amount of teeth but it looks good, which is important, I'm hoping for some dry roads to have a good go on it, rode up the cafe yesterday with new cold tyres on wet roads, not ideal!

Even after a very quick jet wash it still needs a clean I do find that dirt is cheaper than ACF50 for protecting my bike

I actually think yours may be a bit louder at tickover, but I think that mine may be a little deeper sounding.

It's definitely bigger than mine (ooh err missus ). I think it may be 42T (although it looks bigger) as that is the most likely change from the standard 39T if you are sticking with a 15T front. It's about the equivalent of dropping the front to 14T. Maybe we can find out by doing some side by side acceleration tests That's much more fun than counting teeth on sprockets.
