Float bowl screws
I am just having a go at the carbs on my 93 900 Monster and setting the float height. I've found that the screws are made of Chinesium at best and Cheese at worse.
I've got some Stainless setscrews that will do the job but I'm a little concerned about using Stainless and Aluminium together as i could end up with Bimetallic corrosion. what would you guys recommend as suitable replacements? |

I use copperslip on the threads for stainless into aluminum for many years and have had no corrosion issues. I suppose you could use titanium screws if you can get some in the size you need.

I believe the carburettors are an alloy called, I think, mazak, alumininium and zinc which does not corrode so badly by galvanic action as aluminium.
Stainless screws cannot be worse than mild steel inadequately plated. Screwfix do some (or used to they seem to be downsizing their stock) nice SS button head screws that fit 4 x 20mm from memory |

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm going down the Stainless and copper slip route and just keep a close eye on things
