It gets my vote every time, the QD Maxcone. Bye the way, you can remove the rear wheel without removing the silencer.

I like both of the 2-1 systems a lot.
The maxcone is lovely and simple, and may just get my vote on looks (though I'm not sure).
The hi-level system is also a thing of simple beauty. I wonder also whether its extra length might favour low torque as opposed to high revs power, and for that reason I think it just gets my vote.
Both look way, way better than the std system, which looks almost comic/mickey-mouse in comparison.
To my eye, the dark can looks great against the green of the Hailwood livery.

i also like both of the systems, my thoughts also were due to the fact that Rally and Bex already have the QD system fitted, and no-one down south here that i know of had the SC fitted, im not sure about the fine running yet, as i have not had chance to find out if it needs any adjustments

So there you have it...


I have installed the 2 into 1 full system on my M1100S (2009) last winter and here's what I did in reply to your questions:
1/ yes, before I ran Termignoni pipes + DP ECU + open air intake and had my bike tested, it ran lean (as do all DP ECU's) still with the butterfly valve in the exhaust. Now the exhaust is fully open, so it will run even more lean ==> my advice: get it set up properly (mine is being done this week, DP ECU will be flashed and completely remapped over the whole RPM range)
2/ No idea about this memjet thing, I don't have it.
3/ No, the SC project system does not include stuuf to eliminate the exhaust valve and you will get an engine warning light. I solved this with completely removing the servo motor and installed a DUC.EE ==> problems solved

After coming away from the Weekender without even a sniff of a prize, i thought i'd better make a few changes, so i have stripped a few bits of and got some of Staffords carbon....

Bikes looking like this now, waiting for a few bits, amazing how dirty these bikes get underneath!

Powder coated bits are now fitted, did the bars, top yoke, pegs and a few little bits, along with some new Carbon courtey of Stafford and carbon world

hugger and chain guard
