Same as mentioned somewhere on page above, Adrian Flux were pretty cheap even for me when I used them, worth a go. Good luck.

keep calling round mate, someone should turn up with a decent quote soon, or sell it and buy a 750?

Get 'Bike' magazine and ring every single broker, also try the MCN website for price comparison too.

I used Biketeam for a couple of years until they didn't insure the Multistrada last year because it was too new, I switched to MCE who were one of the few to quote me on big capacity bikes.
I'd recommend Biketeam first though.

Devit were always good for me, quoted 133 fully comp for the S4r last month but as it is getting registered in Germany will cost 265 TPFT!
Funny thing is that this is half the best price I could get on my Nissan Almera!!!!!!!!
God knows what will hapen if I import the Spider

wow Chris that's some high quotes I am with Ducati insurance but I do seem to think they are better for older riders(like me) C/nash were loads more for me.
Insurance has rocketed this year due to loads of false claims and injury claims so I think we will all be in for a shock.
Good luck with finding a good quote.

Unfortunately Chris the odds are stacked against you, youthfulness, loss of no claims and a big bike. You'll just have to dig deep into your resolve (see wallet) and cough up if you still want to ride. I guess you tried all levels of cover, although I appreciate that FC is nice. Good hunting.

http://www.wickedquotes.com/ - I'd second that, £240 for my S4RS parked on the road with Euro cover fully comp.

Sadly Chris, I think Stafford has a point here. Shame your struggling though and all I can suggest is to keep knocking on insurance's doors. If you don't insure for a few years you'll go back to square 1 again and as you mention the accident the cost will further increase in years to come too (for upto 5 years before its off your record with some NOT all). So your buggered either way, your only saving grace is if an insurer looks at your complete history (hopefully unblemished?)and see's it as a blip on an otherwise good insurance record and takes a punt/ risk on you, but you'll have to dig a little deeper for a little while.

I don't like quoting to potential brokers/ insurers what others have already quoted, as that gives the game away and them an idea of what to charge without working it out for themselves.

Good Luck with finding a subtly priced quote Chris

Mmm, sounds like all the quotes are coming in at the same sort of level.
Just as a matter of intrest, have you tried on online quote for an aircooled?
It may keep you Monstering at a reasonable cost & they are still as much fun.

My 750 insurance (£87) is less than 1/2 the price of the S4r, but then the
S4r has mods/bling which are covered/declared (Ducai Insurance)

You may need to downsize for a year or so - I know for a nice orange one
