remove footrest bushes

Hi,

Has anyone removed the 3 bushes from the footrest hangers of an m1100? The manual shows the 2 rubber ones, but doesn't mention the large metal one. I presume they can all be pressed out, or can they be drifted out? I want to get them powder coated so will have to remove them all.

Thanks

Reports say that the big ones are 'impossible' to remove in one piece. Reports also say powdercoating won't harm the rubber bushings.

Wouldn't the cleaning/blasting process damage them? Also, not sure how hot it gets, but powder coating requires some level of heating.

Cheers
