remove footrest bushes
Hi,
Has anyone removed the 3 bushes from the footrest hangers of an m1100? The manual shows the 2 rubber ones, but doesn't mention the large metal one. I presume they can all be pressed out, or can they be drifted out? I want to get them powder coated so will have to remove them all. Thanks |

Reports say that the big ones are 'impossible' to remove in one piece. Reports also say powdercoating won't harm the rubber bushings.

Wouldn't the cleaning/blasting process damage them? Also, not sure how hot it gets, but powder coating requires some level of heating.
