That's the handling ruined then...

Spend months and lots of money sorting out the handling to suit my riding style, weight and so on then only ruin it all by installing a teenager on the pillion (took a while to find the pillion pegs and replace the battery..!)

He's got his CBT on Saturday so I thought it might be fun to go for a blat - never have I ridden so slow for so long on empty windy roads (no bins sorry)

Ahh the classic 'death grip' pillion pose

What a lovely "right of passage" picture.

I have a spare set of love handles you can have if you are going to make a habit of carrying a pillion.
My daughter got on well with them when we both rode out on the Monster, and a triumph ST before that. They avoid the "death grip"..

And for info, CBT has been passed resulting in several hours of an over-excited teenager - as it's raining and dark, he'll have to wait until tomorrow before he can go and scare the locals.

It also means the pillion pegs can come off again

And moped insurance makes me glad to be old
