No, that's just odd and even numbers, not symmetry

Ok if you want odd wheel no, pair of wheel yes, odd pair no, double pair yes.
Screw you s2r guys You are all lost in your disillusions, fact is Ducati run out of material so they made one side of a swing-arm ...... I am now going to have my beer!

Sorry, I didn't mean to turn the thread into a discussion about whether single siders are better than double siders...I was just pointing out that its one of the major points for you to make your own mind up about.
Oh, and another thing with the plastic tank is that it won't take a magnetic tankbag, and luggage space is at a premium on a monster (other tankbag styles are available, but they're not as simple to use). |

After passing my test earlier this year, (after a gap of 30 years), I git a S2R 800 following a recommendation from my brother - he's got three Ducati - the S2R 800 is fast enough without being too scary, but loads of fun and handles really well plus is very forgiving.
I spent four days doing nothing but test driving bikes. The S2R was the one that put the biggest smile on my face. I might buy another bike next year, but I'll keep the S2R |

Usually only the Air/Water cooled debate gets things going like that not single or dual sided swing arms!! My advice would be to ride them both as closely together as possible around the same area to get a feel for each (and any others you can find for comparison if possible). Just not a 900- they're a whole load of trouble!!! Oh wait a minute- that's what I have ...erm......ride 'em all!!

Be also go idea to consider what bike will be used for blasting, touring etc. If you want to deepen the debate you could mention what colour ! Above all enjoy the monster experience Cheers |
