1995 m600 trouble finding neutral any fixes?

So whenever I stop and try to go into neutral it just doesn't I spend a good 5-10 mins average jumping from first to second and even after finding neutral eventually the neutral light sometimes doesn't come on for a while.

Any fixes I can know off?

Making sure the chain tension is spot on helps a bit, as does setting up the clutch with a good bleed.
However easiest is to tap it into neutral while the bike is still just rolling.
If you try when halted just be grateful you don't have a cable clutch!!

They are all like it. As suggested it's easier if the bike is rolling and it also should get easier with practice.
