Monster 600 dash electrical connector
Anyone know where I can get just the round female connector that sits in the back of the dash and speedo. I want to add a new lcd display but would like to use the existing connectors just in case I want to put it back to stock. It’s a gen 1 with the speedo on the left and leds/lights on the right. Ebay have used clocks but they are too pricey.

Have a look at this link to see if your plug is shown:
http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/in...?topic=56746.0 There are plenty of places that sell the plugs and pins as kits once you find out which one it is. regards Howie

Hi Jerry, do you have a pic of the connector?
You could put a post in the 'I Want' forum looking for damaged 600/750/900 dash/circuit board. I'm afraid I suspect a one-off mil-spec connector will be as expensive as second hand clocks if you can identify exactly what model it is. Sadly Howie's link relates to later injected models. Is it a Canon one ?? They aren't that expensive and still available, but need a really special crimping tool for the pins and the blue/white or red/white in out tool too.
Might be better to replace the whole connector with one that is available: https://www.3waycomponents.co.uk/Automotive-Connectors http://www.polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/W...onnectors.html

i haven’t managed to identify it, i assume it’ll be tyco (te.com) since they now own amp, deutsch etc etc. Last edited by slob; 05-09-2021 at 06:57 PM.. |

ITT Canon I believe - about £25 on Farnells web site - obviously it needs properly identifying to get the correct one

Hi Thanks for your advice. It is the female round connector that sits in the clocks. Not the male connector on the loom.

If it's an 8 pin, I think this one:
https://www.bikesportdevelopments.co...ode=C40A%2DDU1 if not i think giving them a ring may be fruitful regards Howie

Nope, it's 12 pin, I think the airbox connector is for the 'shower head' injectors on Superbikes.
