Ludd,
Only have one of the charts atm. The guy meant to send me the second one, he’s now having a family issue so I’ll contact him another time. The bike has: A titanium Remus hypercone PCV plus o2 optimisers Valve eliminator MWR race air filter plus power up DP ecu With all that I was hoping for better but here goes Before tune work it was 87bhp and 63ft lb at the wheel After time work it is 93bhp and 70ft lb at the wheel Like I say I’d have liked more. But it’s a two valve air cooled monster. Only so much you can achieve I suppose. On the plus side AF Ratio is perfect and the power, torque curves are beautiful with no holes. Revs amazingly clean and smooth It gained 10bhp lower down in the Rev range so it grunts along better. Rather than chasing peak power. Oh and it’s been on a diet, probably weighs in at about 175 kerb. So it achieves a fairly decent power to weight ratio. ***Wee typo guys, unit of measurement for torque should be ft lb*** Last edited by Ron1000; 15-11-2018 at 11:27 AM.. |

It's interesting to see you've fitted the MWR filter and Power Up kit. I was considering one of these - was it easy enough to modify the airbox (did you have to remove the airbox or can you do the job in situ)? Can you hear the induction roar now? That's what I miss from my old S2R with the open airbox lid. Anyway, enjoy your mods! |

Ludd,
When you put it like that, I'm does sound reasonable. The MWR standard conical air filter is a doddle to replace the Ducati one. The air-box mod, power up is a wee bit tricky but I achieved it first time. I'm sure there's a help on you tube. The front section you need to remove has plastic tabs that need snapped off, they're easy. The tricky bit is bursting the seal, it's like a very thin part of the mould, once you burst it in two or three spots it starts to burst away. After that you've got the two cut outs to do, I done it with a Stanley blade as it's quite soft. This helped stop plastic swarf getting into the air-box like you would with a dremel. I'd recommend using a super sharp blade but probably less flexible than a Stanley blade. I don't notice induction roar as such but it certainly sounds better, free flowing at full chat.....the exhaust note changes slightly.....sounds awesome Before: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=du...3JsMUtlclg7fM: After: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=du...aCnXTodud70PM: |

Thanks for the info. and the installation tips, Ron. I might have to put one of those kits on my Christmas list (plus a dyno session of course)!
