Broken fuel tank vent tubes

Looking around the bike earlier I noticed a rubber tube hanging between the swing arm and the back of the engine casing.
Following the tube up it appears to have been one of two broken tubes that follow up to the bottom the fuel tank.
Haynes manual say’s these are fuel tank breathers.
Could anyone confirm and also more importantly let me know if there’s any issue with them sitting where they currently are in the cutoff state, behind the clutch.
I will of course contact Moto Rapido for replacements on Monday but if it’s not safe to ride over the weekend it would be good to know.
Picture shows my finger across both tubes.
