I just had to keep mine, hence the clip-ons as I found the standard damper fittings just wouldn't work with most types of bars or even some clip ons and the usual top yoke. Even the aftermarket S4 yoke set I have fitted I had to have the damper bottom bracket machined slightly so it would fit.
