Jerry's '91 750SS is for sale, and will have a dry clutch I think? My '92 one did.

Jez, my Commando is an ex Police bike...An Interpol in fact.. It was the one that nicked you.

Actually I have no idea which force used it, but it could have been the one?

Jeff, Are you saying it was an ex-Leicester force bike?

Well I can't say for certain but I think it might have been, yes.
I've always had that notion for some reason .. but back then, the reg no was locally identifiable and maybe that just sounds familiar.

I might try and locate the former owner and see if he knows.

Gary, those levers look the same as the shorties that I have on my monster.
Except for the titanium colouring and mine are on coffin masters.
I like 'em a lot tbh and would suggest they're worth keeping.
On the other hand, if there are no other calls on them, I could give them shed space as spares for sure.
I'm guessing the blades will be identical to my existing ones (one of which does have a minor bend in it from my car-park incident, now that I recall).

Jeff, any history on the Commando would be great. As it happens they didn't fill in the dispatch book at Andover when this one left, so it doesn't exist according to Norton!
The Interpols were shipped off just down the road to Thruxton, where the fairings and hooters were fitted. Maybe one thought the other had filled the dispatch records? Who knows?

I have both coffin and Goldline masters set up with original levers and can confirm that they don't interchange, but that's not to say that the aftermarket levers aren't the same actual levers, on different pivot bodies?

I'll try and remember to put them in my pocket, next time we meet so we can compare.
No idea what they're worth? Cheapest I've seen on eBay are about forty quid.
These ones are nearly new and are un-marked.

Mmmm, nice project, except for there being no bin

In favour of Pierre Terblanche, the second-best looking Ducati was the Supermono (second only to the TT1) - IMHO.

My dad has a 750 commando, recently went to a Norton Rally in Holland . I think next years is in Morroco? He's just had at great expense a electric start fitted as he was struggeling to start it .

Very nice squad of commandos.

I’m sure they weren’t all blue (Back in the day), but it does look good on them.
