Monster 1100s - Lightest In Uk

I'm (reluctantly) selling my 2009 bike, owned from new. It has approx 25k miles, 6 months MOT, & is a great runner.
I've spent many thousands on it, here are some highlights:

BST Carbon wheels
Motocreations Boom Tubes exhaust (with DB killers, & recently ceram ic-coated by Zircotec)
Woodcraft rearsets / Shorai lithium battery
CNC clutch parts & levers
Rizoma bar ends
Evotech Tail tidy
Rexxer box - to upload custom tuning maps
Rizoma bars, mirrors, fluid reservoirs, paddock stand, shorai charger & lots more.....
Painted in Corse colour scheme

There are many others extras, condition overall is very good for year, any more details, give me a shout....looking for £5500.

I may include a set of Termi exhaust pipes if the right offer comes along

Is that rust on the chain or just the colour of your favourite chain Lube?

Would consider selling without the BST's, ie re-fitting the orig gold marchesini's, & could therefore could drop the price. Also, would be willing to re-fit the standard exhaust (with the termi's) if it helps?

How much does this lightest in the UK actually weigh

sorry, never actually weighed it, but take several kg off for the BST carbon wheels, more again for the superlight exhaust, together with a lithium ion battery, & it all adds up.

Also, with the woodcraft rearsets & the passenger hangers removed, there's more saving there.

Can't actually prove it's the lightest M1100S in the country, but it's certainly there or there abouts....

Now if you're talking light you must first look at capo's beautiful work of art because that is the yard stick...

I'll let you into a small secret.
Even the rivet that holds the seat latch together is titanium.
I know, I made it.

But that's not really about lightness .. its art.
All the best artists are obsessive, aren't they ?

Similarly, my own bike has a clevis on the rear brake master cylinder that I laboriously hacked from solid using mostly just a hacksaw and files.
That is actually a monument to ti-Pete, and is made from the first little piece of titanium bar that I ever had .. which he gave me.

And I happen to know that Oz's bike has frivolous, one-off, ti top hat washers on, I believe, the front mudguard.

But a hap'orth of tar is a hap'orth of tar.

Also, I believe Merlin's bike is a bit light, is it not ?

It can become an obsession....

also, forgot to mention, the exhaust servo motor has also been removed, I believe that's another few lbs off.

Is that the same hap'orth of tar for want of which a battle somewhere near Leicester was lost?

I dunno.
I only know the expression in relation to "spoiling the ship" for the lack of one.
And being in the midlands, there have never been many shipbuilders around here.

Though I do think that Richard may have spoiled his new custom build for the lack of an extra horsepower.
Maybe that's how he got the hunch ... crouching over the tank to make up for the lack.
