That doesn't look very happy!
What was it and what were you doing just before it failed, and are your sprockets hooked at all? My preferences are DID and Afan, but I expect others have comments? Also, which width are you using?

I literally pulled the bike out the garage and done some pre-ride checks and saw it. Glad I did!
What do you mean by sprockets hooked? |

Ouch!!!
You were a very lucky chap there I think Miky!!
I am also a fan of the DID chain and Afam sprockets combination and bought mine from Bike Torque Racing. Either call direct or message them through their eBay shop for the correct kit for your bike. This is what I am running but with a couple of teeth up on the rear sprocket to lower the over-geared 900 motor. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-90...4AAOSw4aha9eNC www.biketorqueracing.co.uk

Considering I’ve not had it long Either Flip.
Would would it benefit the 750 to go the same path with changing teeth? |

Do you have a case saver? http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ght=Case+saver By hooked, I mean a badly worn sprocket where the points of the teeth have developed a curved bit at the tip which prevents the chain leaving the sprocket cleanly: each link of the chain stays attached to the sprocket a little Le too long before pulling away with a click. That puts all sorts of nasty tensions in the chain and the rest of the transmission. http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ght=Case+saver At least it's a chance to buy some bling on safety grounds!

After reading that case saver thread I think I will be looking to do the same.
So from what I gather Utopia was successful with his case saver albeit a very snug fit? |
