Hi (back again!)

Hi all, was last a member (same Username) on here c. 10+ years ago when I first had a pre-owned 620 Capirex and then a new 1100S. Long story short have had a biking break in-between, but have now just bought a new 950 (937!) SP.....

Welcome back!

So, how does the new Monster compare with your memories of the old 1100? Almost the same weight but more power/less torque.

Don't forget to post a few photos. You'll need to use a photo hosting site to get pictures on here.

I use www.postimages.org/signup.

Once you've uploaded your picture to Postimage, you should be presented with these options...

Click on the blue 'copy' icon next to the 'hotlink for forums' address and paste it into your post.

Thanks, not been out on it much as it was only delivered 3 weeks ago and I've had a week away in-between. It's only going to be for the odd ride on a weekend really. Interesting though regarding the power/torque/weight, hadn't thought about that, but will report back. I remember when I bought the 1100S, it was only say 4-5 years newer but in that time things had advanced and it was actually lighter than the 620, even though it had almost twice the engine size!

Thanks for the photo link.

Another name from the past rises like a pheonix .. err ignore the pheonix bit, bit too many flames and stuff involved in that

Welcome back to interesting times and beautiful UK biking weather...
