Can't comment on the jacket you're looking at, but, I've a armoured paddock jacket which was purchased over 10 yrs ago. It's been used extensively until about a year ago when I replaced it. Apart from the normal wear around the collars, the jacket is still in good condition. Very comfortable to use. Looked at buying another, but the style is no longer made.
