Monster 600

Hi All,
I’m a 21 year old, just passed my A2 and I’m looking for a Monster 600 on a budget! I don’t mind getting my hands dirty to recommission if the right bike at the right price came along. Preferably looking for something older than ‘04. I’m based in Swansea and Leicestershire.

Hi Adam.
Welcome aboard.
There are some great roads around Swansea for Monstering.
The 600 can be cheap and great fun: check out the DesmoDue racing.
But don't rule out the slightly larger bikes. The 750 can just as easily be restricted on power to bring that within the license limit.

I’ll go and check them out! Not ruling anything out, but I suspect I’ll have more joy trying to insure the 600 over the 750 even when they’re both restricted, I have a look into it

Hi Adam
I have a 2001 600 Dark, it has stood on the workbench now for 3yrs since having severe heart problems. VERY low mileage "if I recall" about 7k mls.
I could be encouraged to part with it if you are interested, I don't live too far away in North Warwickshire, Nuneaton/Atherstone.

There’s a super cheap monster 750 on gumtree ATM. Looks quite nice, I fancy it but my work bonus fell through.

Full service history etc.

The only 750 I could find on gumtree was £3200 which is a bit beyond my budget sadly!
