Shuttleworth Collection Open Workshop Day.

On the 29th/30th of December, the Shuttleworth Collection opens the doors of the restoration workshops to visitors. Looks interesting.
Anyone interested in going?

I would be very interested .. but almost certainly can't make it.
As things stand, the monster would be the only transport option.
Both the cold and the salt are prohibitive.
But, should the rebuild of the "winter bike" be finished by then and if the day dawns fine, I might think again.

Its a bit far for me on a winters day... It does look like a good day out though. Will you pay the extra and it in the Spitfire cockpit?

Really sorry I'm not going to make this Grumpy..

I did note however that there are still plenty of tickets available on the site, so I hope you get some company.

Would have loved to have flown in, if my neighbour still had his plane..

That's a pity, would have been good to catch up.

I've opted not pay extra to sit in the Spitfire cockpit, as I've say in two different Spitfires in the past twelve months!!
