Pet hates

Aside from forums where you cannot find things I have a few

Not in order of importance - just as I think of them or they encroach on my consciousness

1. Power tool cases that have no place to store the lead/plug so it takes you nearly as much time to close the lid with all the wiring inside as it does to do the job you got it out for in the first place.

2. Packaging that ruins the product -e.g. blister packs that are impossible to open without a lot of force that ensures that when the material finally gives way the contents are thrown everywhere - I know I could use scissors but they are not usually handy when I want to open the packaging

3. pop up adverts on the internet that always come into view where you want to look on the screen

What are yours??/

I was going to say "pets", but that's not fair, it's the owners who don't have any control of their animals but feel that walking around shouting is an acceptable alternative that really bug me. Just saying.....that's another one.

Hmmmm..... I could fill a page,

1) middle lane cruisers who refuse to acknowledge there is an inside lane.

2) anyone in a public place, eg eating establishment who insists on shouting down a mobile phone.

3)..... Actually, mobile phones !

4)... Excessive advert breaks during interesting/good tv

5). Non disabled people parking in disabled spaces

6). Random sales people who call you and behave like they were your long lost buddy.

7). Anyone eating anything during a film in the cinema with noisy packaging

8). Individuals who change their accent to suit social circles

9). Individuals who constantly pace the isle of a plane......

10) bar staff who seem unaware of the next person in line to serve...

11) internet sites that insist you register and log in to look at an article....

AND Relax...............

Oh, go on then.
I hate such terms, which imply that it is an exclusively male failing to argue aggressively/dismissively or try to dominate.

Of pets, I hate the fact that there are no restrictions whatsoever on over 10 million pet cats being free to sh1t in everyone else's garden and kill all the baby birds in the neighbourhood.

And I think I still hate Thatcher.

Apart from that, I try to be philosophical.
But minor irksomenesses are ..
1) "Picture is for illustration only" .... er, yeah, and ?
2) Would of, should of, could of. ..... Just learn the fu*king language.
3) Black speedhumps on a dark, wet night.
4) Folk who park on double yellows with their hazards flashing while they nip in the shop.
5) Innuendo ridden and overly "explicit" celebrities on tv. .. shockingly predictable.
6) Running out of milk/tea/rizlas late at night.
7) Bike thieves.

Except you miss the point and the specific causation that some males choose to do this is that their audience is female, which you, as male, will not have experienced in the capacity of being on the receiving end. Obviously.

And it's disingenuous to suggest it's an argumentative or aggressive trait, often it's simply patronising somebody because of their gender, backhanded comments etc.

I'm with you on the cats thing though. Down with cats.

Car drivers who turn right from the centre of their carriageway when, if they moved to the crown of the road, there would be room for traffic to flow on their inside.

Drivers who don't use their effing indicators!!

I have been nearly run over several times - I always stop the driver and ask if their indicators have broken - the indignant driver always says "no" so I remind them that if they used them everyone would know where they planned to go!
