It looks like a few of us have been off in the past week.....not good!
I’ve just ordered some new bar end mirrors to try so should be back out and about soon. I need to have a go at replacing my brake pedal too but I think even with my limited mechanical skill I should be able to manage that haha. I’ve had a few days to contemplate what happened and I’m wondering whether I ‘low sided’? The tyres that came on the bike are very square and I’ve tried to rescue them but think they need changing. I’ve heard that square tyres can be pretty dangerous on corners so perhaps they are to blame.....along with my inexperience |

I have the trophies wrapped and packed in the rucksack, of course if my bike doesn't get through the MOT on Saturday I will have to keep them!
Keep your fingers crossed Pezz. |

Do you really need pictures of me, trophies and bike? Sure most people would be happy with just the bike...

69% chance of rain here, down to 50% so will make the decision on transport about 09:00. If it's bike I'll head through St Helens and then over the bridge
See everyone later |

Good news it is brightening up here and surfaces are drying. Have you arranged to meet Pezz?

Firstly the sign above the corner we have claimed at the lockgate now Bears Geoffs name. I am having major computer problems which I won't bore anyone with but I use my work laptop at home and it's not allowing me to access Flikr or ukmoc so pictures to follow. We then did the bike of the year prize giving, now accepted on behalf of Pezz by me! Then we did a memorial ride, Geoffs favourite from the lockgate was Ellesmere. Pete did a great job of leading us around Cheshire, despite dodging a cycling event en-route. As I say pictures to follow at some stage, thanks to Chris,Pete,Adie,Mark and Andy for your company once again, Last edited by Moco1961; 03-06-2019 at 07:42 AM.. |

I took a tune home from Geoff's send off. It wasn't by the Travelling Wilburys nor anything Jeff Lynn Wrote.
If I said it was the Stones very tongue in cheek "Girl with the faraway eyes" I would have to explain it came from the partial line "...I shot twen'y red lights in his honour." Then you would know what I refer to. The motorcade to the Crematorium was marshalled with wonderful precision by, presumably, people from Ducati Manchester? Notably the fellow on the Panigale V4, which crackled past us each time, to escort us through the next intersection. Hats off to those guys.
