I reckon the twin "silencers" are necessary - I had a single one on my 1200 Multistrada and it was loud enough to wake the dead! Nicely made stuff, but a single one really isn't enough, unless you really dislike your neighbours!

I tried to get a cheaper pipe but nobody had one on the horizon so I bought a Termi! Then Remus bloody well released on the day after I bought it! Ah well, the Termi sounds incredible!!
