Had clip on bar clamps that came with the bike but no actual bars so I decided to try them out and I bought a pair of bars for the grand sum of £11, they look pretty nice too with the nylon bar ends.

Looks pretty good and the riding position is not as bad as I was expecting considering they mount under the top yoke and there is no rise.

The top yoke looks a bit rubbish with holes for the original bar risers and the clocks look like they sit very high now. Not sure what my options are for top yoke replacement?

Mate looks good!
I thought you would get round to using those clip on brackets!
I think there is a thread on here somewhere about lowering the headlight and clocks and you need to just make a new bracket! Might even be Dave G who the belly pan used to belong to!
Maybe worth a search?
Once mine is sorted i will stick up some pics!

Get some pics of your new bike up

I've had a look at a few guides and people seem to modify the standard headlight bracket and mount the clocks under the yoke instead of on top which looks pretty good.

Will need to source some smaller non tacky looking indicators because the OEM ones are too big to fit now.

Nice bike, why don't you upgrade to the 1000 instead of the hassle of changing engines etc.

Oh by the way I have one for sale

QUOTE=lewis;491278]Finally done my belt covers in black, I was too cheap to

buy dye so I just used spray paint that I already had in my garage. Happy with the finish and I didn't scratch the paint putting them back on.

Put some stickers on the belly pan too in an attempt to give it a sort of desmo challenge look ha, not sure if they will stay.

I'm having terrible thoughts of putting in a duel spark engine just because I would like that dry clutch rattle. Am I right in saying a 1000cc engine from the S2R 1000 or a later monster 1000 engine would bolt in without any frame modifications? What about the 1100DS?

That's looking very smart!

Is that a wet clutch with a window cover? How does it compare to your old 748?

Currently making up some brackets for new indicators on the rear, and need to fit much smaller fronts because of the lack of room with the clipons.

Hi Lewis yeah it's a clear wet clutch cover!
For 90% of the time it will be so much easier to use than the 748.
I've had it remapped as it was a running too lean with the emissions guff fitted! so much smoother at lower revs now!
Maybe see you in the new year mate?

Not much has changed on my monster but we all like pictures anyway right?

Removed the belly pan stickers, fit a BBBFabrications case saver, new indicators, oil and oil filter changed and a fresh front tyre bought and ready to go on. I've ridden around without mirrors for a while but I much prefer being able to easily check if anything is behind me so have put a bar end mirror on. It gives a pretty good view of my knee when riding but I can't think of another solution as there is no room on the clip ons for a more conventional mirror to clamp.

I really enjoying riding and owning this bike, owned it longer than any other. I always fancy trying something different but the Ducati is a good all round package. It has the looks, noise, good handling and enough power for me!

Cheers, sorry I don't know who made the belly pan, it came from jdp683 who I believe bought it from another member on here. It is made of fibreglass with no markings, it did need a fair amount of cutting to get it to fit with the arrow exhausts.

It is a bit of a trek! I'm jealous of your dry clutch and extra 200cc ha.
