Eleanor, you have an email from me (could it be you've precipitated your own solution?)
Likewise, Dave, I should be in touch tomorrow.
I suspect the three overworked employees who look after the club office have been flat out trying to keep this lot in order since Mugello and are back at their desks tomorrow

Thanks for the pm Rob. My contact with the factory to book the tour was at the end of December, so it wasn't Mugello that caused the delay (possibly Christmas holidays)

Hey Rob, I know you're kind of 'busy' at the moment but, any chance of my 2019 card? I'm off there mid July and am hoping to do the tour and museum etc (still waiting for confirmation though, only applied within the last few days.

One last attempt at emailing the factory, if they dont reply I wont bother trying again and spend my day in Verona instead.

This really is pretty crap.

I’m working on it but like you can’t force a reply

If you in Bologna: scrambler food factory (in torre galluzzi) is cool
osteria dell’orsa is great (cheap) local food, communal tables full of students.
jukebox bar next door nice too

verona good culture stop: roman remains, amphitheatre, romeo & juliet house

Dunno Albs I was just impressed they 'DOC themed' the restaurant in the town square they fed us at.

Original DOC Verona logo is now one of the examples the factory use for unacceptable logos in the regs.

Dave G, check your PMs, the email address yu gave for DOC is not valid, which may go some way to explaining the lack of response, I have your card, just can't get it to you!
ManWithRedBike, check your emails, should all be good.

Sorry rob, just updated my details, and the good news is Ducati have just replied to me confirming my booking- I did take some hints from mrs c and included an Italian translation from google so thanks for that, it seemed to work.

Im booked in to visit the factory next week. Someone told me once that if you have your bike chassis number then you can meet the/a person who was involved in building your bike. Obviously for a 1998 bike this might be a bit of a problem if they've 'moved' on. Anyone hear of this? Also, any tips or other things or stuff worth seeing or doing when there?
Thanks -- Phil

pizza at vita san luca, if you have time, it’s a taxi trip to near the church you can see on the hilltop overlooking the city. the 666 arches up the hillside, alongside the road are quite a sight.
the pizzeria at the hotel amadeus is excellent for lunch and very close to the factory
otherwise you’ll get a top notch cheap feed at l’osteria dell’orsa in the student quarter of bologna.
the lamborghini museum is worth a visit if you like cars and can get in
... and don’t forget the factory outlet (right out of the gate, up to the end of the road and across the highway) if you’re short of branded clothing ;-)
