Interesting that Capo was mentioned in the thread you linked to Rob.
I recall that Capo had a narrower radiator on his S4R. I wonder if it it was one of the ones prototyped by Marchesini? Sapone Cremosa had one like Capo's as well. and as far as I know it came off the shelf, so presumably still available?

Sent my radiator to west Mercia radiators last week. They’ve come back and said it needs a recore at £280 (not sure if that includes vat).
Is it worth getting a recore or just getting a H2O radiator for around £700? |

I can personally vouch for their work, I had a radiator recored by them a few years ago at a similar price, when a replacement from Ducati was £1200 + vat, no brainer really
