Hi Kuba glad it worked out OK, I did ring the store first thing Saturday morning to let the guys know of your problem and to be ready to hopefully get you back on the road...

If you're around tomorrow I'll be back and forth between the two stores moving stock so might meet up...

It was caused by loose screw which came off. I wouldn't call it mechanical failure.
Just make sure your screws are all tightened...

It's the cam position locking plug in the middle of the cam end-cap, pretty much all desmo-due motors have them

Glad everything is ok and you and the bike survived unscathed but I think Ducati are taking the 20th Anniversary thing a little too far by bits falling off so readily!!
