Trying to find a service kit for the rear suspension. Ive found this kit from K-Tech.

Any other sources people use?

You won't go wrong with K-tech. I've used them for years and always had first-class work.

Thanks. Just waiting for them to come back to me, despite this kit being noted as the fitment for M900 95, he wanted to check as it titled "Sachs" when shock is Showa.

Sachs were used on some Monsters, at least on 600 versions. I think it is generally considered to be inferior to the Showa.

I'd be surprised if the kit was the same..?

From a personal view I would just fit a unit proven to work well as in new and just make sure the spring was in correct yellow. I was fortunate with getting the ohlins with the bike but it still cost me time and money to get the hose replaced with a shorter one and then regased and make the hiding bracket. The spring also got powdercoated to not so orange yellow ohlins colour to ducati yellow along with the hoop.
Consider buying Nashers proven to work on a 97. Powdercoat safety yellow job done.

I actually my Scrambler spring is silver not yellow but cannot be ar4ed to do it. Would sooner upspec the shock.

Youre probably right, but I really like to have a go at things myself, until I find I cant! Ive made the press tool and the re-assembly tool. But it seems I may be thwarted by not being able to buy the service kit, which I know exists because there are people who rebuild them.
Ive just finished a set of Obsolete Fontana FAC shocks for the Laverda for which no service kit was available , but I found some power steering seals that could be fitted with some quite simple modifications.
And, as you say, if I come unstuck then theres always Darknesses shock

Just the day to complete my swop over to a Shindengen FH020AA Mosfet Regulator.
I obtained mine from a breaker in Holland for just over £40, its from a Multistrada 1200. I have used this site as a very comprehensive Bible on the FH020AA with many useful guides, amongst which is how to recognise a genuine FH020AA amongst the many rip-offs

I have followed his guidance for creating all new charge wiring although I have utilised the exist 30A fuse holder but with new connections. For the most part that means simply unplugging or releasing spade females from hosings and taping /heatshrinking them to avoid any shorting.

The installation is pretty straight forward with only one VERY IMPORTANT thing that can go wrong. You must get the polarity of the Black and Red into the FH020AA the correct way round.

Andrew at Sparkbright is making me up a simple non bright white led charge light with the same functionality as the standard filament lamp that worked on the original system. It will work exactly the same, ie on when ignition is on and engine is not running, and off with engine running and charging correctly. It will have an added flashing function if overcharging, but no other coloured indication. And be fitted behind in the standard console

I have that petcock on my M900 and the fuel filter with 90deg outlet. I believe its used on Fiats.

I take the old one into a motor factor and they find it. It slips into a metal band that is attached to the bottom of the tank.

Or you could always ask Moto Rapido for the filter next time you are passing. They should still be available and are about £8 from memory.

Yes, Ive been quite encouraged by both the availability and the price of spares that are still available.....not that its me who is after a filter...at the moment

I got the side stand back from Mr Tig yesterday, so I set about turning it into a usable piece of equipment, and got a bit carried away! Well its cold and rainy, whatelse was I going to do.

Also changed the treacle in the clutch after Id done some work on fitting a clutch switch and found I had to bleed it.
