2015 S4R fuel pipes
Hello folks.
I just put my tank back on and like a muppet find i can not recall which way round my fuel pipes go in to the tank. The two pipes are marked green and white yet at the tank end the paint has worn off! I would include a photo of where they go so i could work it out but i never have any luck with photos and always get told my download is failed. But….as you look at the side of the engine with the front of the bike to your right both fuel pipes are there in the V. One is more to the front of the engine and it would help if i could be told if that was the delivery or return? Thank you guys. |

Yes mate 2005!
Mine does not look like either of those. It is the two fuel pipes that come from the carbs that i am confused about. Which goes on which inlet into the bottom of the tank. One is outflow and one is return. Last edited by S4R Dude; 18-12-2023 at 09:15 PM.. |

plastic tank?
if it's a steel tank it should be like S4 in post #3 http://ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?t=60641 but I thought they'd fully switched over to plastic in 2004, maybe you have a late registered model in either case the return pipe is the one that comes from the pressure regulator ('D' in the S4 diagram in the above link) ps. you don’t have carbs, they’re ‘throttle bodies’ with fuel injection Last edited by slob; 19-12-2023 at 12:22 AM.. |

And we still call it a telly even though it's a computer really.
