Hi. time to change the fluids on my newly acquired 1200s, what is the recommended DOT brake fluid

Have they stopped printing it on the reservoir lids now??

I highly recommend you pick up a motion pro mini bleeder to make the job nice and easy

the book says dot4
dot5.1 is glycol based (so compatible) and has a higher boiling point

! do NOT use dot5, which is silicon based !
