3...2...1.Back in the room

Hi Folks...............we are back !!! Its been a loooooong time but we thought we would give it a go and do you know what, it worked. Randomly chosen pub car park, social distancing observed, refreshments brought with us( not shared I must add, so its a bring your own breaky meet ) .

Great to see Chris and Mark again, chris has been hard at it with the cleaning rag, results are impressive sir!

Plan is to do the same again next Sunday as the weather is due to hold, I will post up on Friday the chosen venue. Criteria is quiet pub car park on A road location away from potential attractions ~ We did a reccy to the Leigh arms last sunday and the car park was busy with all sorts of folk using the canal towpath/canal at Acton bridge. we didnt stay long.

So if you fancy a blow out and saying hello from 2m distance, give it a go, I am still smiling

Looking forward to it mate, it's up to individuals how they manage coming out of lockdown of course but I think we are social distancing in deserted car parks so far so good, it's great to be out and about again, see you tomorrow .....don't forget your flask !

Monthly Meet~ Sunday Sep 6th

Well folks, so far we have navigated our way through this thing, long may it continue. I have contacted Laura who is open again and is looking forward to seeing us again!

So with that in mind lets give it a go this Sunday, please observe the social distancing, I suggest we grab an outside table and use a runner for the orders........if any one is uncomfortable we will move on.

It has been possible to get together over recent months, here are some reminders to wet the appetite,

Can't do this one we are off to Yorkshire for lunch with some friends up from Hampshire. Enjoyed the run out with Adie & Pezz on Sunday to Barley on Pendle Hill - slightly marred by the farmer who decided to swill out his yard leaving a half mile trail of liquid slurry to negotiate!! Just about got the baked on sh1 off the engine casing and exhaust pipes.

Enjoy the ride - have some Geoff special scones for me!!

I know you will go for the low sugar jam and the calorie free cream Mike so you might as well have one for Buzzbomb as well
