As Darren69 says I bought GS550 wet plate clutch plates for my dry plate M900 for about £25 the set (new from China).
As Darren also says I am about 100 hours from completion so do not know whether they will actually work but thought it was worth the risk for that price. (taking one for the team?)
They would have fitted perfectly into a steel basket. As I had also bought an alloy basket with a stainless steel ring around the basket to stop it belling out the outer tangs just fowled the ring and needed a touch with a file on the outermost surface to clear this stainless steel ring.
I will report back on whether they slip or not as soon as I know.
