Manchester and North West 2020
A happy New year to everyone, I typed that quietly for those who overdid it a bit last night Its that time of year to get some dates in your new diaries, hoping for a lot more rideouts this year and welcoming new faces.
To kick us off here are the dates for the monthly meets at the Lockgate Coffee house based on first Sunday of the month principle, except where stated otherwise: January ~ Sunday 5th~ blow those cobwebs away....much to discuss ! January ~ Sunday 12th~ Classic bike show, Rainford junction pub. I can't do Sunday I'm afraid - the missus is 50 on the 4th and we are going out and it will be a late one.
Just noticed its actually the 4th now - aarrgh damn jet lag... |

Good to see everyone in fine fettle after the festive break, not a bad turn out with 7 bikes for 5th Jan. Nice to meet newcomer Colin on his very clean S2R. Just spent 15 mins wiping the worst of the grime off the bike, 20 miles of rain out and then the last 5 back so at least it was easy to shift!

Crikey it has been sodden here all day. Had to many jobs to spend 2 hrs in the car today....was hoping to get out this afternoon but still sodden!!

January Meet
Well....what a start to the new year, great turnout,thanks to one and all, 7 Italian bikes in the car park, great to meet Colin and his S2r too. Nice to see Andy again on his Hyper, all good stuff and many of us stayed dry ! Sorry Chris looks like you were the only one testing wet weather gear today. A record of the gathering below plus Colin's S2R.
