October Breakfast Norfolk.

At Capo's suggestion, we are heading for The Gin Trap in Ringstead (nr Hunstanton) for October's breakfast.
http://www.thegintrapinn.co.uk/
Breakfast is served from 8.30 to 10am, so if we meet at our usual 10am we will miss the boat.
Is 9.30am okay for everyone?

The Gin Trap was formerly a regular meeting place for UKMOC and also I believe DOCUK, when Mohawk was the area rep. She worked very hard at getting people together.. Not heard from her for a very long time, hope she is still well.

After breakfast we could have a little ride down to Old Hunstanton and see the RNLI hovercraft in it's shed, if anyone's interested. Y' never know, they might even have it out for a little exercise.

Sunday 13th October, 9.30am, The Gin Trap, Ringstead.

Bump before the weekend..
There's been a good response to this on another thread.
Hope to see some of our West Norfolk members?

Gary,

I hope to see you at the Gin Trap tomorrow morning. How big is the ultrasound cleaner and could you bring it tomorrow please?

Confusing... One username, two users?

It'll be good to see you tomorrow Richard.

Cleaner not easily transportable, and also not mine to lend out.. Bring injectors.

Sorry folks... Going to be a wet one tomorrow... Bring wellies!

Thanks to Dacs for the lift to the Gin Trap.
Not too surprised to see no bikes today in the persistent rain, but though a few might manage the gig?

Gin Trap is clean and food is nice but at poncey prices.

Great to meet Richard. We followed on to his gaff to examine the 620ie project and were suitably amused wiggling things and try fitting stuff..

It should be possible to put it all together into a nice working bike fairly quickly... Do keep us up to date with progress Richard, and don't be afraid to ask those questions.

Footnote. I managed to get in touch with Mohawk and happily she is alive and well and living in Scotland with her Monsters.

We landed from our holiday, at Stansted, gone midnight. By the time we arrived home and hit the sack, the time was 3am!
I was woken by the alarm, which was set for 10am. Bearing in mind from me to the Gin Trap takes about 1 1/2 hrs and the rain was stair rods ( did I mention we went to Sorrento, which was 26 deg C , not a cloud in the sky) so the kettle went on and I chilled out.
Good to hear you guys enjoyed fiddling with Hamish's bike.
Next time.

Glad you had good weather on your hols. I didn't really expect to see you coming round the corner with your undercarriage still smoking...
