Only trouble with that is that some (many) aftermarket filters have a different number of flats on the hex than the std Ducati ones have.
I laboriously hacked a homemade wrench out of 5/16 inch steel plate. Imagine my annoyance when it didn't fit the aftermarket filter that I bought. Easily solved by sticking to std or similar filters though. I quite like the notion of using a jubilee clip to hammer on. Filed for future reference. |
