Yep, they are Chinese, 6061 billet. So, based on feedback I've seen I've taken a punt.

Hi
I have always fancied a pair of rear sets for my 1100 but it’s hard to justify the price of the well know brands. I have a couple of questions: Break light switch, how is this reconfigured Rear break slave cylinder mount? Seen some awkward hose routing. Do you have to mover the rear break master cylinder up and out of the way? I believe the gear change side is a lot simpler. Merry Christmas |

Graham do you want to loose the oversized OEM foot peg assemblies to improve the looks or is it for a much more sporty riding position.
On my 1100 I've fitted the front pegs from an S2r which really cleans it up and I know of others who have used the front pegs from an 1100evo to do likewise. With our bikes it means that it becomes a solo ride because neither bikes have the bracket fixings for pillion pegs plus on mine I had to purchase a 30 MM longer rear brake line to make it work. I thought that pillion footrests were an MOT requirement?
Obviously if there is no pillion seat they're not needed... Can you argue that there is no pillion seat if the cover is on?

They seem a bargain at that price, even including VAT and brake light switch. And being silver you won't suffer from faded anodising, which seems to be a common complaint with the black anodised Chinese products. You might want to give them a wipe over with ACF50 or similar to protect them from corrosion.
