That'll be a good buy for someone, JB. I like the 1100S style gold wheels; they look good with the SC exhaust. Good luck with the sale.

So why not just buy some suitable luggage for the Monster?

Unless you are wanting to go two up or are already finding the Monster uncomfortable over reasonable distances due to physique etc. why not just trim it up into 'Touring Mode'?

With the likes of SW Motech and Givi offering some nice items it shouldn't be too hard to find something either tailor made or that fits nice to the Evo.

Before we put motorcycles into catagories of sportsbike, commuter and tourer etc. there were just motorcycles- if someone wanted to go somewhere by motorcycle, that's exactly what they did- got on their motorcycle and went. Admittedly, things have got a little extreme in some directions but you get my point I'm sure.

I love my Monster and love 'touring' to other places on it- just load it up and follow the road (erm Sat-Nav ).........

Totally agree. You can tour on the M1100evo. I did thousands of miles of touring on mine. In fact the vast majority of my mileage on it was long distance (I never commuted on it). I seem to recall that I reached the 7500 mile service in 3 months of ownsership.
