Caliper upgrade time

Just spent a couple of hours in the garage, it was off with the standard monster 1100Evo callipers.

And on with a pair of Panigale 899 callipers

Just need some warm dry weather to go and try them out

Nice!
Here you would need a bloody boat to test them, its pouring down in the style more commonly known to Noah. Earlier there were hail stones too. My Monster is happy in hibernation...

Interesting.....
Questions - Were they a straight simple swap? Compatibility with the ABS? Why the change? How much?

1/ Needed the 899 over the mudguard hose due the different banjo angles, otherwise straight swap.

2/ should not be a problem with the abs ( did check with a Ducati specialist).

3/ fancied monoblocs , and a bit more power for trackdays

4/ Got them off ebay for silly money (£125.88)

Just an update, had the bike out for a few trips around the Lincolnshire Wolds, and to answer an earlier question, no issues with the ABS, bonus
