I might be getting the hang of this. I just fine tuned the last map into pretty much the route I had in mind for section one of the Coast to Coast.. Not quite sure about the route across Bury St Edmunds.
This one shows road works and "incidents", which might be handy on the day. What would be really handy is to show speed limits, as some good looking roads on a map are often littered with really low speed limits, for example the North Norfolk Coast road. I'll have a look at that Grumps.
I thought we might get away with shooting straight through Bury at 5.30 in the morning? Now I think that a mapping format is pretty sorted I will move all this to a thread for the route planning of the Coast to Coast.

My experience when I lived in that area is Suffolk was to steer clear of Bury at any time of the day!
