Another year, another bike :-)

Just picked up my 2015 monster 821 from Riders in Bristol, changing from a BMW R1200R that was a lovely bike but a bit dull. The M821 reminds me of my Buell XB12 that I owned around 9 years ago but m821 has a decent seat, and a bit like the KTM Superduke 990 that I owned a couple of years ago but the m821 engine doesn't snatch and does more than 35mpg. Maybe this is a keeper!
How did the Ducati OEM exhaust pass noise testing though, not that I'm complaining ;-) Anyone else in Melksham area of Wiltshire fancy a ride out sometime? Koops

Welcome to 821 ownership.
Really enjoying mine since picking it up in March and done a good few trackdays on it too now.
The standard exhaust isn't bad, but I have a Termignoni race exhaust on mine, so it's a bit louder anyway, which hits 102 db's at 5,000 rpm according to track noise testing.

MR21, not me. Didn't leave until 4pm Friday....perhaps someone was checking it over! See you've got a 1200....extra torque must be nice :-)
