Exhaust sounds good, especially when it opens up, only problem is that there is an orange light on the dash which is on all the time, to do with the exhaust motor valve, bike looks nice with the pipe, but i did just about manage to keep up with Gordon, almost undertook him and overtook him several times.....
In Moto Rapido's workshop The pipework is alot less heavy looking than the standard system

I may be interested to buy a SC-Project Full system 2-1 with Oval silencer (Code D04-C02O) for my Ducati M1100S Monster but I have some questions: 1. If I fit this type of exhaust, do I need to change the fuel parameters on the ecu? 2. I see you sell a product called MEMJET power unit for Monster (Code D04-MJ): is this unit designed to adjust the fuel parameters of the ecu? Does it require set-up on a dynamometer or any specialist tools to install? 3. The M1100S has a flap valve in the standard exhaust – does the SC Project exhaust include parts to remove this valve control unit? I know that if it is disconnected it will result in a ERROR message. Answers were: Hello, you have to install the memjet, you have to remove the valve, you don’t have to reove the valve, in this mode the error message don’t show. The memjet is ready and easy to install So there you have it... |

If you install the memjet you can remove the flapper unit. If you dont install the memjet do not remove the flapper unit What do you reckon. Makes more sense maybe ...... or maybe not

Rick if you looked at the Pic's of UKSurfers bike closely enough, you'll see that under the clutch cover is the Lamba sensor. THis I believe is provided with the exhaust. You need to check your own bike to see if this sensor is fitted and of its whereabouts. Have you checked it for yourself? The 796 exhaust could be different to your M1100s?

I have installed the 2 into 1 full system on my M1100S (2009) last winter and here's what I did in reply to your questions: 1/ yes, before I ran Termignoni pipes + DP ECU + open air intake and had my bike tested, it ran lean (as do all DP ECU's) still with the butterfly valve in the exhaust. Now the exhaust is fully open, so it will run even more lean ==> my advice: get it set up properly (mine is being done this week, DP ECU will be flashed and completely remapped over the whole RPM range) 2/ No idea about this memjet thing, I don't have it. 3/ No, the SC project system does not include stuuf to eliminate the exhaust valve and you will get an engine warning light. I solved this with completely removing the servo motor and installed a DUC.EE ==> problems solved Best regards, Jan |
