Looking good. Did you get the ECU and air filter that go with the Termis?

The throttle response is is now pin sharp and the lurching at lower revs has all but gone, although I have dropped a cog size on the front which has also helped I guess. Despite varying stories of having to have the ECU set-up by a dealer etc. I decided to just plug and play and see how it went and put it back to standard if it ran like poop. It was a bit lumpy on tickover but has now settled down. I read somewhere that the TPS is reset after powering the ECU on/off 3 times in succession. I did this and it certainly seemed to smooth everything out in idle but who knows I did have a heart in mouth moment yesterday though, my Dad came round to have a listen but I couldn't get it to fire up - visions of void warrantys and dodgy ECU's filled my head. 15 mins passed only to realise the neutral light wasn't on - it was in gear with the sidestand down |

Glad you got the weapons of your choice.I doubt whether you will get rid of trademark 'WONKY ' as I reckon they weld it in for the customers GRATIS. I think your right about ECU fittting. I just popped down my local Ducati independant to fit mine as was unsure about all the access to it.( Wish I hadn't as broke collar bone on the way ) Glad you now getting some miles on it. Trackday it with us lot in July 1st at Mallory.

I would love to come to Mallory and still have it in mind to come. I have found someone to match up the zips on my mismatched two piece leathers. I now just need to confirm time off work which to be honest isn't looking likely as it stands I shall chase it up this week and give a definative answer before the week is out...... |
