I have chooped the tail one time and it did look cool but I did not like the fact that mud from my rear tyre was ending up on my visor ... I am all weather rider on any bike.
Besides I have other idea for that tea tray which involves it staying just in new form. Belly pan is a maybe. |

absolutely, I think the tea tray was an after thought and not part of the original design, EU regulations forced it etc. In Bologna I didn't see a single Monster with a tea tray, all chopped.
On such a lovely early one I would be extra careful and do a clean job. |
