Its a long shot, but try your home/contents insurance. Some companies will endorse a policy to cover trails bikes (for example) for theft only . Needs to be a pretty flexible insurance company though.
Norwich Union might do a "laid up" policy like they do on cars...its complicated though. Failing that, invest in a big heavy chain and bolt it to the floor or wall! |

Have a look around there are some companies that insure vehicles especially bikes for just theft if kept in a garage, the cover was originally designed for summer bikers who don't get their bike out of the garage but still need to make sure that there is insurance should anything happen.
If not insure the vehcile in someone else name for the next 3 months |
