Thanks again, Rosso Corse!
After finding a dribble of oil coming from under my cambelt covers on Wednesday morning, just before leaving for the trackday, I decided to whip 'em off and check there were no leaking seals inside. I discovered that the bearing in my vertical cam belt tensioner roller had fallen apart and the roller had locked, resulting in a severely worn belt. I rang Ray, since he's my nearest Ducati specialist and he got me down there and then. Fitted a pair of belts and an 'as new' tensioner before sending me off to Mallory. Without that kind of instant service my trackday would have been over before it started. Thanks again guys, top job!
