Best Tyres?
Hi Guys, what tyres would you recommend for road riding in the summer. preferably a dual compound. i dont tend to ride in the rain if it can be avoided. i am currently running Michelin power EVO. great tyre, just a little pricey. i have been looking at the Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 but i have read some mixed reviews. are they any good?

I like Sortsmarts but the Metzeler m7rr have good reviews I seem to remember.
I use Maxxis sport tyres on the M900 with no problems wet or dry.

I gave up using Rosso 2s as they slid too much on my S4 have Pilot road 3s on it now they are good
and my M750 has Bridgestones BT016 which have made its handling amazing compared to previous Pirellis, Dunlops and Metzlers

Just a bit of an update, i went for the Rosso 2's and i cant fault them. they get up to optimum temperature nice and quick, feel nice and positive on the road. they fill me with confidence at hi lean angles. spot on!

Yes Rosso 2’s have been around for a long time and it’s rare to find someone that doesn’t rate them, I’ve got them on my 900ss and they are fine, I don’t know how they are on a track because I’ve only ever ridden with them on the road.
