tail chop
hi
i would like to cut the rear frame n i looking for a tail chop for number plate where can i find it? cheers seby |

You'll find the answer to all your questions if you do a search for "tail" and "chop".
But try this one for size!! I did!! And so have a few others I think...... YD. |

sorry mate but i want to cut the rear frame!
so i need a numberplate holder i still have one in carbon dp for no cut frame! |

I've just ordered a Tail Chop Kit from Competition Werkes.

Mine cost £7.04p
A packet of coco pops, mmmm coco pops Step one Eat coco pops Step Two Cut tail off bike, cut coco pops packet into right shape for bracket. Step Three Take coco pops packet template to local fabricator. Crust - "got an off cut I could cut that out of?" Metal working chappie "you want it in stainless?" Crust - "ooh, mmm shiny" Mwc - "there you go mate, you want it cut to shape?" Crust - "shiny, erm yes." A few minutes later Crust "There you go my good fellow, buy your self a refreshing pint." A couple of minutes later back in the garage Ta Dah cheapy shiny non-rusting type tail chop crust |

i made my own bracket last year out of a piece of aluminium plate. i'll try and scan the template soon and post it as a word doc or something easy to print off.
got pulled by the mot tester tonight for no reflector at the back. gave me a cert but told me i should have one fitted. the $119.95 one in the ad above doesn't have one |

true.
i not one for leaving any of my vehicles standard, but i wasn't sure of these were the sort of bikes where modified examples still sold as well as mint standard ones . |
