And then don't you have the issue with getting enough heat into them so they work properly? Personally I don't see the need for these on a normal street bike with the level of power which any sane person would need.

The standard Brembo snowflake discs and calipers are just fine for most normal riding situations and even though I have some Brembo Clubmans which I intend to install at some point which are full floating like the cast iron ones but without the rust/weight or cracking issues. I don't really need those either really but, they look so much nicer/better quality than the standard ones and I got them for a steal anyway, so hey why not?
