Identifying a wire, oil temp sensor?
Hi all, I need some help, I'm fitting a (US) 2004 1000s wiring loom all going fine except for one mistery wire. The wire comes off the main loom as part of a minor branch, it's located mind way down the bike, with other wires for the solenoid & the oil pressure switch, plus the neutral indicator. The wire itself has a simple spade type connector on the end with a plastic cover, it seems to be coloured orange with blue (or maybe Black), on a diagram I've seen it might be for the Oil temp sensor (inst) which I assume means instruments. If this is for an oil temp sensor where is it located? All help gratefully accepted, Bitza
